Ash Taha MD The USPTO and the FDA are different entities that are not beholden to each other, even if they operate and funded by the the same government. Also, in patents, you claim things that may or may not be true, just as long as they are novel. I believe this is physician/patient issue and the FDA and DEA need to make it possible (easier) for studies to allowed and used as evidence to change class scheduling.

I strongly disagree with this. I have had epilepsy over 50 years and I have had no symptoms nearly 20 years with right medicine, but I don't believe cannabis is not the right medicine to cure epilepsy

Andrew Kyle Kenneth - not every medicine works in every patient the same way While not an expert, I believe epilepsy is a family of diseases that may exhibit similar symptoms but have different root causes

Given that there are drugs available for this family of diseases, most patients may respond but some will not. Having another choice when other drugs fail is better than no choice at all.

There maybe different side effects too and some drugs are contraindicated by age.

You did not tell the group if you had ever tried CBD or if you have side effects with the medication you take

I think, were I the parent of a child who had failed to respond to traditional medical care, I would give CBD to evaluate its effectiveness.

I became a patient of the Minnesota medical marijuana program this past spring...!
I have muscle spasms and back pain...
And I have an upset stomach every day because of a large hiatle hernia...!
(getting surgically fixed as soon as I'm doin with my radiation treatments.)
I've taken so much ibuprofen in my life I've damaged my kidneys..!
I van no longer take non-steroidal anti-inflamatory drugs for pain again...! If I wouldn't use Cannabis...I couldn't work hard like I'm doing now on my new job...!
My boss knows I'm on the program and has no problem with it...! Unfortunately...it would cost me about $800 a month to get my cannabis oral suspension oil or my under the tongue tincture filled...!
Nothing cannabis related is covered by the insurance companies....so of course...I can't always afford that....!
It's a shame...it's so expensive...!
But I tell you without a doubt....
It cures all my symptoms...
Quickly...With no side affects...!
I'm very thankful for that...and appreciate all the people who worked hard to make that opportunity available for me...!
