It is time to change the attitude toward cannabis. This group has the voice that may make a difference. We are in the medical field to help and be blind to our individual prejudices. Even if you don’t believe in cannabis, your prejudice should not constrain those who disagree with you if the patient benefits. If we can change the DEA’s schedule 1 status, we can find out more using our objective scientific processes but I don’t want the pain we can cure today on my conscious because I did not speak up! Can Cannabis Cure Epilepsy in Children? 5 Year Old Child Seizure Free Du…http://smokersguide.com – Uncle Stoner talks to Peter Starostecki, father of Stefan Starostecki; a 5 yeaar old medical marijuana patient who uses cannabis to control his seizures. Hard to do research on a schedule 1 substance. As adults, based on thousands of years of objective evidence, and the absence of any objectively documented death due to its use, we should have the right to use cannabis It has sufficient evidence of its safe use and our government spends its law enforcement resources on a PLANT

The USPTO and the FDA are different entities that are not beholden to each other, even if they operate and funded by the the same government. Also, in patents, you claim things that may or may not be true, just as long as they are novel. I believe this is physician/patient issue and the FDA and DEA need to make it possible (easier) for studies to allowed and used as evidence to change class scheduling.

Cannabis outlawing had nothing to do with addiction or health concerns and everything to do with cultural concerns and Big Tobacco

Kenneth - not every medicine works in every patient the same way While not an expert, I believe epilepsy is a family of diseases that may exhibit similar symptoms but have different root causes
Given that there are drugs available for this family of diseases, most patients may respond but some will not. Having another choice when other drugs fail is better than no choice at all. There maybe different side effects too and some drugs are contraindicated by age. You did not tell the group if you had ever tried CBD or if you have side effects with the medication you take I think, were I the parent of a child who had failed to respond to traditional medical care, I would give CBD to evaluate its effectiveness. If you get the VICE Channel, watch some of the stories about the use of cannabis to treat various medical problems that were not resolved by patent medicines. Have you ever tried CBD? Thank you for your post and have a very happy 2017 Marked as spam

I became a patient of the Minnesota medical marijuana program this past spring...!
I have muscle spasms and back pain... And I have an upset stomach every day because of a large hiatle hernia...! (getting surgically fixed as soon as I'm doin with my radiation treatments.) I've taken so much ibuprofen in my life I've damaged my kidneys..! I van no longer take non-steroidal anti-inflamatory drugs for pain again...! If I wouldn't use Cannabis...I couldn't work hard like I'm doing now on my new job...! My boss knows I'm on the program and has no problem with it...! Unfortunately...it would cost me about $800 a month to get my cannabis oral suspension oil or my under the tongue tincture filled...! Nothing cannabis related is covered by the insurance companies....so of course...I can't always afford that....! It's a shame...it's so expensive...! But I tell you without a doubt.... It cures all my symptoms... Quickly...With no side affects...! I'm very thankful for that...and appreciate all the people who worked hard to make that opportunity available for me...! Marked as spam

What do you know about Canabis,a drug that affects and modify the receptors. These now modified receptor, act as modifiers of the whole body's function. Are you in support in distorting the original structure of the individual. BTW. This is not rare at all

Dear Andrew Kyle, agree with you. For me, I think the more choices, the greater the probability of succeeding. How to change classification? Below is what I found on the internet.
"The simplest way is to say that the rule itself doesn't track the statute and accordingly, it's an invalid rule," Robert Hoban, a cannabis lawyer and expert, said that DEA cannot unilaterally make law and schedule controlled substances, thus causing this Final Rule to exceed the DEA's authority. Instead, such actions require an act of Congress. Marked as spam
