Hi, I need your help. I would really appreciate to learn what channels/methods are suitable to make medical device manufacturers and distributors aware on European logistics and warehousing services for Medtech devices. Tradeshows like Medica, Arab Health and Medtec are famous tradeshows . Right now most medtech customers approach us “by word of mouth”. But what about other channels/methods? I guess it’s also applicable on any other services to the Medtec industry. Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts. I will be more then happy to return the favour! source: https://www.linkedin.com/groups/78665/78665-6143830882768732164 Marked as spam

Do you really want to "increase awareness" of the category? Or, I suspect, you want to increase your lead flow. Both of these statements are "about you."
Tell us about your prospects. Among all the things on their plate, where does "I have pain about my current logistics situation fall?" Do they have a problem? Are you looking to attract companies with no logistics service providers? Switch them from their current provider to you? Many questions about how to find a solution that works for you. Hi Joe. No, these posts are not about increasing lead flow. Although I understand your perception after re-reading my post. Sincere apologies for that. I really want to learn for what specific logistics competencies medical device companies are looking for at logistics providers. And where and how medical device manufacturers and distributors find suitable logistics providers.

Yes Joe but also what and which sources are used to logistics providers AFTER the deciding factors have been determined.

You should talk with the various MRP/ERP Software providers and perhaps piggyback on their tradeshows. I'm an operations manager responsible for logistics. All of my operations from ordering material, to receiving, to shipping is coordinated through my MRP/ERP systems.

Louis, your full question then: In order of importance, please list and rank the factors you consider when selecting a logistics provider.
I don't know this answer but perhaps my clarification will help those who make these decisions help you. Marked as spam

Yes Joe but also which sources are used to select potential logistics providers after the deciding factors have been determined by the shipper/seller of the medical devices.
Bill Watson: that is the kind of answer I'm looking for, thank you! Would that be an MRP/ERP software provider like SAP? Marked as spam

Yes. I'm talking about providers like SAP, but you'd be surprised just how many smaller and mid-tier companies use solutions other than SAP like Expandable and a host of other software platforms. Really large companies that can afford the most expensive versions of SAP probably have vertically integrated logistic and distribution chains closing out potential partners. Smaller and mid-tier players are more likely to need to partner with logistics providers.
