As leader of the community, I made a difficult but necessary decision to keep our group running smoothly in light of the changes to LinkedIn’s group platform. BACKGROUND: LinkedIn now allows any group member to post anything they want, without moderation. ASSESSMENT: That’s unacceptable and violates my first promise to you: To keep the group spam-free and curated for intelligent, worthwhile conversations. SOLUTION: To stop spam, I switched all users to “requires moderation” so I can evaluate discussions before they are posted. Unfortunately, comments also “require moderation,” which is frustrating for you and more work for me. It’s all-or-nothing with LinkedIn’s change and I decided “no spam” is more important than “comments immediately posted.” I’m confident the group’s majority agrees. INVITATION: Please register at http://medgroup.biz/MDG-SITE so we always can communicate no matter what changes LinkedIn makes to the group product. Thank you. ★MOHAMMAD GHANEM★ Karl Schulmeisters Mike Sperduti Joe Hage Robyn Barnes Marked as spam

We still use LinkedIn to access our site because it’s the only way to “pull in” your LinkedIn photo, name, and hyperlink to your profile page, all vital in building your professional network. When you log in using LinkedIn, you are giving LinkedIn your password, not me. I never see nor store your LinkedIn credentials.
