I would never pay for a Six-Sigma certificate on my own. If you don't have management support for a project and to cover the certification costs, then you won't have support from management for a six-sigma program at all. I would train yourself by reading and convince your employer to earmark some funds for a six-sigma project and training for you.

I agree with Robert. Learn on your own. If you can't apply them immediately you will lose knowledge quickly as well.

stepping back a bit, Jennifer, where would the project come from? and even if there's a project, is this solo or a cross-function team effort? the certificate provider should give you these details, then you can accurately determine the ROI.

We still use LinkedIn to access our site because it’s the only way to “pull in” your LinkedIn photo, name, and hyperlink to your profile page, all vital in building your professional network. When you log in using LinkedIn, you are giving LinkedIn your password, not me. I never see nor store your LinkedIn credentials.
