I am interested to learn about the fabric/textile products people are using in their medical-related work.

I am particularly interested to learn what problems could be helped with new or improved fabric/textile products. Thanks!

	Private answer Hi Ruth, The last company for which I worked used textiles in it’s positioning products. The “must haves” for support surfaces/positioners were: -Breathable yet fluid-proof -Washable or wipe clean -Minimal heat build up -Potential for multiple-patient use. I hope this helps. 	Private answer Ruth Clark Thanks for these answers. I have two reasons for asking. Initially, I am starting to teach sewing and thread arts in the small town in which I live and would like to show students that sewing is much more than making shorts and skirts. There is a much greater potential future in medical textiles that I will want to introduce them to. I also have worked for many years in the area of adaptive clothing for Individuals with disabilities and want to include alternate fabrics as well Marked as spam Report spam
